KEYSER, W. Va. — Students in the nursing program at the West Virginia University School of Nursing Keyser Campus, located at WVU Potomac State College , will soon have the opportunity to both secure financial assistance in attaining their degree and find meaningful employment in their field at Potomac Valley Hospital following graduation.

WVU Potomac State College president to serve on board at Mississippi college
Shirlethia Franklin, Esq. (right), a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Jones Day Law Firm, and also served as a former senior U.S. Department of Justice official in the Obama Administration, was one of Dr. Gilmer’s most outstanding students at Tougaloo College. Now a member of Tougaloo’s Board of Trustees, Franklin nominated her former professor and mentor to serve on the Board alongside her.
Local colleges sign partnership agreement
The presidents of four colleges – two in Maryland and two in West Virginia – signed a partnership agreement on Monday that paves the way for collaboration in a wide range of workforce training programs.
